Ryland Homeowners in my subdivision whos homes were built in the mid 80's to early 90's have had problems with their wooden columns supporting their balconies. Homeowners on my street and in other communities have reported this problem to ryland and have had the posts replaced with fibreglass posts.The posts were rotting from the inside out, therefore they did not detect the problem until the posts were rotted.
