About 5 Years Later...

These are pictures from my house about 5 years later. Notice how the windows are basically coming apart. You can put your thumb between the glass and the frame. I asked Ryland Homes to help me fix this problem and yet they refused. They visited my house about 8 times. Even the President of the Houston Division, Mr. Jim Lemming was in my house inspecting the damage, and yet they refused to help. They also...

Did not disclose they sued the windows manufacturer in December of 1989, The Ryland Group V. General Aluminum Corporation Cause NO. 89-053854.

Did not disclose the existance of detailed engineering studies which were used against the window manufacturer and filed in the above lawsuit.

Did not disclose the fact my neighbors on my street were listed in the studies.

Did not disclose the engineers had warned against installing the storm windows due to heat build up which could cause more damage to the already defective windows.

Did not disclose the storm windows had failed water and air infiltration tests due to the defective internal windows.

You can put your thumb inbetween the frame and the glass. The glue is no longer holding the glass.	Another window. different room. Again, notice the gap.
This shows the frame has actually separated from the outer frame. Most of my windows have this "feature".	Almost every window in my house has the glass separating from the frame sat the top of the window.
and this is my house. Again, notice the strips	This is a neighbors house. Notice the peeling insulation strips.
