- The Pepper Case -

In October of 1998 the case of Kent and Martha Pepper vs. Sto Corporation et. al. went to trial in Wilmington, NC. Sto Corporation vowed to "fight the case to the end". Far from being confident after their victory in the Mayer trial in Washington state, Sto was understandably concerned due to the subsequent discovery of the Remmele Memo and other evidence.

The Pepper's attornies presented the case and the associated evidence over a 6 week period. At the conclusion of the Plaintiff's presentation Sto Corporation caved in settled the case rather than continue with the trial. More detailed information is available from the News & Observer.
