The repair contractor called in to deal with EIFS problems on a Missouri hotel called the Guesthouse Inn faced outward signs of moisture problems, including delamination of large sections of the EIFS:

So. How do you fix this mess?
Simple. Just cut off the dressing bands, cover those areas with felt and cover all the EIFS with aluminum siding...

But, you have to ask... Siding is nailed up. What about all the nail holes through the EIFS?
And isn't Missouri supposed to be the "Show Me" state?
