Texas Builders Commission release new report on the abuse of arbitration in new home construction The newly created Texas Residential Construction Commission (TRCC) approved new home warranty standards for home construction in Texas. These standards have been in work for almost a year, yet fall short of providing adequate protection for new homebuyers.

For the first time in Texas history the Texas homebuilding industry will be regulated by a newly created Texas Residential Construction Commission created solely to address new home construction defects and abuse of consumers.

November 19, 2003 Homeowners Against Deficient Dwellings to testify in New Jersey State investigation into widespread abuse of new home construction and inspections. Tracey Kelly, President HADD NJ, will testify at a hearing on abuse of new home construction and inspections. This hearing is being conducted by the New Jersey State Commission of Investigation.
